bookings made from this site over the last year. We hope that this will give you a good
indication of the best restaurants, or at least the most popular. All of
these restaurants are in the city itself, and all except Botin are bookable from this
website.
So, with no further ado, here are the Top Ten Madrid Restaurants, based on number of

- La Corral de la Morería
Deservedly in first
place, since this is without doubt Madrid’s best flamenco
restaurant, with the longest tradition and the best artists.
Excellent flamenco accompanies some quality Spanish food for the

Another ‘tablao’ or flamenco restaurant with a long tradition in Spain’s capital, the Cafe de Chinitas occupies an 18th Century mansion
close to the central Gran Vía area. It offers Mediterranean cuisine and

This classic restaurant fuels an eternal debate between those who say it is too touristy and those who praise its authenticity. Our own opinion? Well this is the oldest restaurant in the world according
to the Guinness Book of Records and since it serves Spanish food in a

establishments in our list. La Capilla de La Bolsa was previously the Madrid Stock
Exchange and before that, a hermitage linked to the Knights Templar. The building has had several anonymous owners, giving it a continuous air of mystery, but in any case

well-liked. This particular restaurant is located in the Alonso Martínez area in central Madrid and was fashionable during the ‘movida’, an explosion of
popular culture in Madrid during the 80’s.
